TOP 21 books of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!

This ONLY took four hours to do and make pretty! I hope you all enjoy my end of the year top 21 books. They have all stuck with me and make me smile all big or make me cry just the same.

The Time for the final battle has come.

Edmund's armies have surrounded the Rioseco Abbey, trapping the few survivors inside. The sight that Ilyan was given a thousand years ago is about to come to pass.

If only Joclyn was able to fight.

Joclyn is tormented by the hallucinations that Cail’s mind has left her with, her magic an uncontrollable torrent that even Ilyan cannot control. Her moments of lucidity are broken by fears of dripping pipes and bleeding walls, and a desire to kill Ryland that she is having trouble trying to ignore.

The sight has shown her power, shown her success, but it has also shown her death – The end of her life something she is not quite willing to give up on yet.

Even past her death, the sight has shown her love, and that love may be the only key to her sanity, to her strength, and to Edmund's death.

That love may stand in her way, and a single choice may tip the scales and secure their future, or destroy their fate.

My Short Review:
This was my FAVORITE book of this year. I constantly think of Ilyan and what he has done thus far. I cannot wait for Dawn of Ash and how everything will go from this book. I love the emotions and the pain, happiness, and anger I get from this book. Still to this day which I read this February 18th, I still think of how many emotions I felt and how I need to know what happens next and I HOPE Ilyan will come out on top.

How do you keep existing when your heart is so splintered, so completely torn to shreds, your pulse is fading?

You’re…broken. How do you move forward when every breath is nothing more than a constant ache? Living becomes an insidious reminder that you threw away the single largest part of yourself. Your…soul. No amount of distraction can pull you from the torture of losing your…life.

Now that Emily Cooper has walked away from her first love, she finds herself running toward her only love. Unraveling fast, but clinging to hope, Emily risks all she has left on the man that has consumed her every thought and dream since the day they met. Will Gavin take her back? And if so, will their reunion be a collision of two hearts destined to complete one another and rekindle a love that knew no boundaries? Or will scars from their past rip open, tearing slowly at what each of them was meant to be? Can fate, the ultimate game changer, mend the shattered road it laid out from the start?

Only time will tell…

My Short Review:
Collide and Pulse killed me. I was on an emotional rollercoaster that I never thought I’d recover and I can honestly say the characters were amazing. I loved Gavin way too much. I mean everyone wants a guy that will move heaven and hell to get to be with you forever. This book teaches you that real love does exist and it isn't easy to come by and by FAR not an easy task.

Jade Mathews is on the run. Running from an addiction that almost destroyed her, and a man who wants her dead. Kyler James is a writer, a recluse locked in a prison of his own making. When Jade and Kyler meet they find solace in one another and start to heal. Until Jade stumbles upon Kyler’s latest manuscript and is shocked to find that it is her story. One he couldn’t know. Jade fears she’s trusted the wrong person once again, and this time it may be her undoing. Is the past destined to destroy them, or will they finally break free?

My Short Review:
This book had everything you look for, a broken girl who needs not only some good in her life but some motivation. She also needs to have more confidence and to believe she is beautiful whether she recognizes it or not. There is love, not always the healthy kind either (if you could call that love). Strength is a huge thing here in such a big way. Forgiveness is the hardest thing to give, you try and try and it doesn’t always have the outcome you expect and in BREAK FREE you realize no matter how hard the task it will get done if you have faith. And lastly, this book has a beautiful outlook it may have taken so many steps and hardships to get to that outcome but it happens and you will be so amazed at how this book changes you. This book is a beautiful story, it has damaged people, hate, anger, disgust, and sadness but you end up with such a beauty that you will appreciate the life you are given and will hold those you love dear to you.

Our lives shattered... Our hearts broken... Our souls torn to pieces...

He was my world, my whole life. My reason for breathing. I had a perfect marriage, a baby on the way, and I felt fulfilled—almost invincible.

Until the day life hit, leaving me broken, vulnerable, and alone.

She was my life. My ray of hope on the cloudiest day. With her, I thought I had the ultimate safety. A love that would never hurt or betray me. I gave her my heart, my body, and my soul.

Until she broke me, destroying every dream and illusion I had about life, love, and marriage.

In our grief, we made a mistake. A mistake I'm not sure we can come back from.

My Short Review:
Holy SHIT. This book SHATTERED my entire being. I swear it took me weeks to recover and every time it was mentioned the tears would flow. You need the BIGGEST box of tissues for this book, and I MEAN a whole freaking box.
My heart hurt for these characters and it killed me that I couldn’t smack/hug them when they needed it. There was so many emotions and hell, I felt them ALL.

She’s captured the hearts of Heaven and Hell…

Betrayed by her true love, Olivia cannot let go of the angel her mind doesn’t remember, and her heart refuses to forget. In an attempt to reclaim her broken life, she is determined to unearth her past, but some secrets are better left buried.

To save her life, he sacrificed everything. Universal Law was broken when Liam violated Olivia’s free will. His guardianship has been revoked, and the pain of letting her go is nothing compared to the torture of enduring their shattered bond. He can no longer sense her, no longer feel her, and the enemy he risked it all to save her from, now has free reign to claim her for his own. To get her back, Liam must turn away from all he is, all he was, for the one thing he may have already lost forever—Olivia’s love.

Haden will stop at nothing to possess Immanuel’s Stone, and locked away in Olivia’s memories is the key he needs to find it. But in his quest for vengeance, he never expected to lose his heart to the enchanting green-eyed beauty. Forced to choose between love and revenge, Haden becomes captivated by a woman who will never be his…or will she?

My Short Review:
Man, words cannot describe the love/hate I had for Liam. I mean crossing the line is an understatement and it made me love Haden more. I may be biased because I LOVE a lost soul/bad boy and god I have it bad for this one. He is the perfect disaster and I want him to win her love but we will see who wins.

Sometimes love can start with a little hate.

When Sky Hudson first has a run-in with tall, dark, and handsome Nicholas Ruggarson, she wants nothing more than to throw her coffee at him. He is rude and arrogant, and she is glad she never has to set eyes on him ever again.

Or so she thinks.

It turns out, not only does she have to see Nick again, she also has to live with him. Hired as the new nanny to work for Nick’s affluent family, she can’t seem to get away from the womanizing jerk.

With a hot and cold relationship, and an undeniable attraction between them, Sky might finally be the woman to break through Nick’s arrogance and discover that there is more to him than she ever imagined.

If she doesn’t kill him first.

My Short Review:
How do I begin? I loved the ENTIRE concept of this book and I think Komal did an amazing job bringing it to life. I mean, no one’s life is perfect but this just show how messed up it can truly be and I think that Nick and Sky have to go through hell before they can be happy. They work so hard for their happiness and when they get it, it is like bliss and you can’t help but smile. It is getting there that is a mess waiting to be fixed.

Suzy’s a control freak and has her life mapped out - work hard, find a man with a stable job, and live happily ever after. She’s content with the status quo, but her plan comes to a screeching halt when he enters her life and turns it upside down.

City gave up on love when his heart was crushed in college, preferring to be the typical bachelor. He spends his nights hopping from one bed to another and his days working at his family tattoo shop, Inked. A chance encounter on a dark road makes him question what he had sworn off forever – a relationship.

A night of passion and lust causes them to question everything. Is City the knight in shining armor to the damsel in distress? Can their relationship survive when a fantasy falls apart and a secret comes out that changes everything?

My Short Review:
City and Suzy are two amazingly well built characters. They are so different but they work together perfectly. I have never read a book that has flown together better. I loved every minute of reading them hash out their life and face battles that you wouldn’t ever dream of facing. I love the Gallos in general and all of the books are amazing but City and Suzy have just stuck with me and I love rereading their books.

When 24 year old Rachel Landry, who suffers from a debilitating mental illness, receives a knock at her door one night from a stranger she gets an offer she can’t refuse. The chance to live as a vampire, gaining eternal life and relative sanity seems like a great plan. Soon she comes to realize she has been turned for a specific purpose and her vampire existence may be short lived. Also the handsome stranger may not be as much of a stranger as she thought. Facing her demons along with new enemies she must come to rely on her own strength to save her life, and the life of her new clan.

My Short Review:
This book is still fresh on my mind and I love it. The battle is probably my favorite but I love seeing the characters grow. There is one scene that haunts me still because it is just beyond brutal. It hurts to think of it. I loved how much Rachel grew as a person but I love Gavin wholeheartedly. His character grows immensely and he shows you how far someone will go for love and family.

Rory is a simple girl in a simple world. It wouldn’t take much to make her happy, but that’s a goal she gave up on long ago. Now her only goal is to simply, survive. Rory used to count down the days until she could leave, but now with a younger brother in tow, it would be hard she could never leave him. Rory is trapped in the Trailer Park like a princess in her tower, with her mother playing the big bad drunken fire breathing dragon. The dream of her knight coming to save her faded away about the same time her goals changed. Feeling useless and angry Rory starts her new school and gets trampled by none other than Monroe Falls Golden Boy Tobias West. She finds herself seeing him as the knight she dreamed of, though she believes it to be just that, a dream. Tobias (Toby) is Mr. Popular/ Mr. Perfect/ Mr. Money in the bank. He is too high on the social ladder to step down to her level. Or was he?
Toby was smitten with Rory. Toby’s ex, Ashley refuses to lose out to trailer park trash, and Rory finds herself the fuel to Ashley’s new found hate. On top of Monroe Falls High School drama, Rory still has to deal with her drunken mother and needy brother. She doesn’t have time for childish games. Reality hits Rory hard when her mother brings home a ticking time bomb for a bed mate and the need for that shiny knight becomes real.
Rome appears like she conjured him up out of thin air with magical powers, and instantly becomes her best friend. He seems to always be around when she needs someone to talk to and seems to always know just how to fix it. (Did I mention he is drop dead beautiful?) Two knights in shining armor? Nope!! That doesn’t happen, not in fairy tales, and definitely not in real life. Rory finds herself realizing there is a thin line between relationships and friendships lines that are starting to blur. Toby is getting ready to leave for college, Ashley’s nonstop meanness, and Rome showing up can Rory handle the pressure?

My Short Review:
When you read the title Trailer Park Princess you probably think “WOW this book sound BadA$$” but in reality it is SO much more. This book brings you hatred of teens and growth of adults. You experience pure hatred to some and a newfound love for others. The love described in this book is not what you think. I am talking about the kind of love you hold close to your heart and cherish not the sappy “puppy love” or “love for friends” I mean the true love of family, the love that is hard to come by. The love shown in this book is so tender and wholly. I love all the family grown in this story. The people you’d least expect to be amazing are the ones with the best love to give. The way each of them looks after each other and respects one another is something I didn’t have growing up and it is heartwarming to know it can exist whether it is fictional or not.

As one evil falls, another rises in its place. The powerful witch, Desdemona, has finally been killed by an alliance of wolf, elf, and fae. But Reyaz, brother to Cypher the warlock king, has vowed retribution for a life that was taken from him. Now Cypher must decide not only how to protect his newfound mate and his people, but also how to destroy the only family he has left.
Meanwhile, Jen’s pregnancy progresses and the fateful due date draws ever nearer. The thought of losing Decebel’s child constantly threatens to overwhelm her. With each passing day, Decebel grows more distant, causing Jen to wonder what toll the impending loss of their child is taking on him. Unbeknownst to Jen, in an act of desperation to protect his unborn child and mate, Decebel strikes a deadly bargain with the Great Luna—his life in place of his child’s. There is only one way for that to happen; the bond between he and Jen must be broken.
As Jen as Decebel struggle through their darkness, another kind of darkness is infiltrating Fane’s heart. Doubts and questions linger as he tries to cope with the emotions brought on in the aftermath of Desdemona’s curse. He knows what happened wasn’t real, but still he can’t rid himself of the terrible images seared into his memory. Jacque is his light, the one who keeps the darkness at bay, yet he won’t let her inside to do just that.
Sally continues to learn what it means to be a gypsy healer and Costin struggles to protect her as she runs full speed ahead to help her wolves, heedless of her own safety. She sees her best friends struggling, each enduring their own trials. She’s desperate to help them, but can she keep them safe?
With all of these things hanging heavy over the heads of the Serbia and Romania packs, their attention is divided. The wolves do not even realize a threat has slowly infiltrated their midst. Will they recognize the threat in time to save the lives that precariously hang in the balance?
Against this backdrop of darkness, choices will be made, fears will confronted, and the ultimate sacrifice will be made. Will the wolves stand together to defeat the threats arrayed against them, both from within and without? Will love conquer all? Or will the beleaguered wolves finally succumb to their demons?

My Short Review:
The series came to an end, an amazing and beautiful one but an end no less. I am sad to see my favorite wolves go but I am so happy to see them finally having a HEA.

A confrontation is brewing...frustrated and heartbroken, Zoey turns to Declan, the one man charged with hunting her down – and the only person she knows who can help her.

Determined to do what’s right regardless of the cost, Zoey strikes out on her own as leader of Team Rogue, a vigilante group of beautifully lethal women dedicated to protecting the innocent. Her challenges soon become overwhelming as she is wanted dead or alive by two opposing supernatural societies. Making matters worse, she is plagued by blackouts that may compromise her missions.

Politically adept, Declan knows how to walk the fine line between helping the woman he loves and remaining loyal to his family. What the powerful Enforcer Chief doesn’t know is how to keep Zoey safe from their common enemy.

Time is running out for Zoey and her team. If her enemies don’t find her, her inability to control her actions will land her in hot water, if not dead. Aware of the dangers, she proposes a tempting deal to Declan -- spend every night in his bed, as he asked her long ago -- if, he and his powerful family align with Team Rogue in the coming confrontation between their societies.

My Short Review:
I NEED more Zoey and Declan. I mean this cannot be it. I need more of all his brothers as well. Dec is the best ever. He makes me all warm and fuzzy talking about him. He is truly an amazing man and I am so happy that he pulled his head out of his ass and Zoey too. I hope they have their hands full metaphorically and physically with each other and what is to come.

Fate hasn’t always been friends with Isabelle West. In fact, fate has been a downright bitch.

Isabelle has learned the hard way how hard life can be when fate isn’t by your side. It can hand you dreams on silver platters, but it can snatch them right back and hand you nightmares. One thing Isabelle knew for sure fate was consistent with was taking away everything she ever loved.

For the last two years Isabelle has been slowly clearing the clouds of her past. Happiness is finally on the horizon. She has a thriving business, great friends, and her life back. All she has to do is jump over the last hurdle…her ex-husband.

When problems start causing her to fear her new life, and memories that are better left forgotten start rushing to the surface the last thing she needs is a ghost from her past to come knocking on her door.

Axel never thought he would look into the eyes of Isabelle West again, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to now. He’s carried his anger for so long he isn’t sure he can just turn it off, but when he is faced with protecting her and an unexpected desire to have her again, life gets a little more complicated.

How will Axel and Isabelle deal when all their cards are put on the table and everything they thought was true blows up in their faces?

My Short Review:
Fate can literally fuck you sometimes, especially in Axel and Izzy’s life. They have been fucked so many times I am surprised they made it out alive. But there they are, living, breathing, and making something of their lives together. It takes everything that could possibly go wrong, to go wrong before they can even breathe. They are fighters and I enjoyed going through hell with them.

I didn’t mean to hurt anyone, especially him…

I was living the dream. I had a great career as a romance author, a successful boyfriend, and am the daughter to a New York power couple. With my standing, my family groomed me to be perfect. Despite having it all, something was missing in my life.

In an attempt to break away from my privileged, suffocating life, I was in pursuit of finding my own path to happiness. After my literary agent gave me a risky writing assignment, I set out to write a best-seller that took me completely out of my comfort zone and into the arms of another man. He was only supposed to be a research toy, falling in love wasn’t a part of the plan.

As I become tangled into a huge web of lies, I quickly find out that I have a life changing decision to make. Do I choose to continue living a life of comfort, stability, and misery or do I take a chance on the unknown to preserve my happiness?

My Short Review:
This isn't your average erotic novel. I actually enjoyed this one a lot more than normal ones. It wasn't normal, nothing about it was like your every day erotica. This book was one of a kind and hilarious. You don't find a whole bunch of erotic novels that can make you laugh and then make you be hot and bothered the next minute. Now that is what I call fantastic.

If you are a prude you may even enjoy this book because it is something to relate to. If you are a kinky person that works too. This book has it all for everyone. Wanting some steam? This is also for you. Want romance? This book has that as well? Want an A-HOLE involved? YES, READ hahahahha.

Ace is bad.
Very bad.
After losing my brother, I know I should stay away. So why can’t I?
He’s irresistible. He’s confident. He’s amazing… but he’s dangerous.
He was there the night my brother was murdered. He watched it all go down.
I should stay away. The things I saw weren’t acceptable.
I should want Ace as far away from me as possible—I should consider him a monster and a threat—but when my life is at stake I know I no longer have a choice of the matter. He's the only one that can protect me.
He's done what he can to keep me out of danger, but it's not enough. I need answers. I need the truth. He refuses to give it to me, and because of that I don't trust him. He refuses to tell me what really happened and to just forget about it but I refuse.
I won’t back down until I get answers.
But there’s one thing wrong with getting too many answers. It leads to lies. It leads to trouble. It leads to danger. But worst of all, it leads to me falling deeply and madly in love with him.
I’ve gotta be out of my mind.

London Stallone hasn’t always had the perfect life, but she did have the perfect older brother. He did everything for her. He took care of her when no one else would. He’s always been the shoulder she could lean on, but when he ends up murdered, things turn for the worst.

London soon demands answers, and the first person she runs to is her brother’s co-worker and good friend, Donovan “Ace” Crow. Ace isn’t the ordinary guy. He doesn’t come equipped with flowers and chocolate. He doesn’t hand out smiles and hugs to every female he meets. He’s strict and only about business, and London believes he’s a part of the reason her brother was murdered.
Soon, after finding out life-threatening news, it leads to something Ace never thought he’d have to do for anyone.
Protect her.
Although he doesn't want her to get hurt, it doesn't stop him from being selfish or bitter. He's promised to protect her, but has he done enough ? Has he sacrificed everything in order to keep London out of harms way?
Sometimes love can get in the way of your priorities. And sometimes love can easily become your enemy—you worst nightmare. It can destroy you.

This is a story full of dishonesty. Disloyalty. Broken hearts. Pain. Suffering. Lies. Destruction. This isn’t a fairytale love story. This is real. And it just might break you.

You’ve been warned…

My Short Review:

I have NEVER in my life been as pissed at an author as I was at Shanora when I originally read this. I CRIED so much that tears stopped coming. She broke me a little inside with this ending and until recently I thought it was over but my life has been made better and I forgive Shanora for deciding to give me more Ace Crow. This book is a MUST read but bring your tissues and definitely bring some guns, you may be shooting some characters lol.

Back from their quest into the Underworld, with the threat of Lucian hanging over head, Emma is faced with yet another problem—the Immortal Bond. The bond surpasses any reason and is something so complex, not much is known about it. Once an Immortal Bond is made, it is forever. A conjoining of two fated hearts, destined to be perfect companions.
Emma’s heart, already bonded with her Guardian, Kade, has unexpectedly and inconveniently bonded with Ethon, the son of Lucifer. Now she is faced with a decision she doesn't want to make. Both want nothing more than to love and protect her.
With the arrival of new company and old friends, things are bound to get heated.

My Short Review:
How do you choose between two men who capture your heart and soul? I still can’t bring myself to read the next installment because I don’t know who she will choose and it is killing me not knowing. I want it to be Kade, but then there is Ethon and my heart can’t choose for Emma.

As the only survivor of a tragic accident, Tony Russell, aka Tiny, is mentally and physically scarred for life. Years later, he finds himself addicted to the gym and prescription drugs. Relationships and sex are the furthest thing from his mind, but when a replacement guitarist steps in for his band Blow Hole, Tony can’t help his physical reaction to her. She’s a spicy rocker with pink highlights and a scorching attitude, and she’s exactly what he needs…regardless of how badly he refuses to believe it.

Constance McClaire knows all about addiction. After growing up with a junky for a mother, she refuses to have anything to do with that life…until she meets the brooding, giant bass player for Blow Hole. He doesn’t take her shit, has sexy tattoos, and very large hands—but he’s clearly an addict and desperately needs help. Getting close to Tony without allowing herself to become emotionally attached is harder than she thought it would be. Addiction is addiction, no matter what it is swimming in your veins, and Constance finds its Tony she can’t get enough of.

My Short Review:
I don’t think I have ever wanted to castrate a male more than I did Tiny. He was always been my favorite until I saw into his life, at that point I wanted to chop his manhood off and show him who he could be. He was a great character and learning more about him made him redeemable but getting to that point was like hearing nails scratch at a chalkboard. I can say I am happy it turned out for him and Constance because she was a bitch too. They both made me mad but I am happy for their HEA and the time it took was hard for them both and they still made it out okay.

One night, one desire . . . will it be enough?
Melissa Ashford vows to herself to enjoy her newfound freedom by living life to the fullest after leaving her cheating ex-husband behind. A night out on the town with her friends is just the beginning of her fun. The last thing she wants is to think about men … that is until her eyes land on the mysterious gentleman in the expensive gray suit, which matched the color of his seductively hypnotic gaze. Even as other women parade around in front of him, he watches her and only her. To him, she was the only one who existed … she was the only one he wanted.

My Short Review:
I love how you got a first look on Melissa and Brett's first night together! This book was amazingly written and I absolutely loved it! It was intense and sexy all in one!
To continue the amazingness get Trusting You! You will fall in love with them all over again!

Ever since Lily died two years ago, Evie has been lost. She exists but doesn’t live, and she copes the only way she knows how: by wrecking things.

She exposes her dad’s affairs, ends things with her longtime boyfriend, and just last semester she destroyed her music scholarship. Desperate to break away from all the destruction she’s caused and start over, Evie reinvents herself at her new university.

But then Rhys, her new voice instructor, happens. He’s gorgeous, insanely talented and a part of the dark past she’s trying to overcome. Rhys’s brother is the reason why Evie's life is such a mess right now, the reason why Lily, Evie's sister, is dead. Even though Rhys is the last person Evie should ever want, for the first time in two years, wrecking things seems…right.

My Short Review:
This book made me smile, laugh, cry, and want to bash in people’s skulls. It was intense and sweet all in one. Getting down to the bottle of the entire story ripped me open and was like pouring salt on an open wound but I can say, overall it had everything it needed to make a good story and I can say that fate is a bitch and these two characters got it firsthand.

At twenty-one years old, third-generation movie star Cal Hammond was on top of the world. He had more money than God and more women than any man could need. But when a night of debauchery ends in tragedy, he forfeits a life of luxury for a ten-year prison sentence at La Rosa, California’s most violent prison.

Eight years later, a ruthless, cunning man runs La Rosa from the inside. He is known simply as BEAST. All the wardens fear him. All the gangs obey him. He speaks to no one but his inner council. What he says is law.

Annabelle Mitchell’s father is the warden at La Rosa. He deals as dirty as his trustees, and after years of smooth relations with Beast and the gangs he runs, Holt lands on the powerful prisoner’s hit list. That very afternoon, Annabelle pays a surprise visit to her father’s work, hoping to use her new counseling license at a place she thinks she could make a difference. When she catches Beast’s eye, he releases the warden and grabs the daughter. The price for the warden’s error is not death. It’s his precious Belle.

My Short Review:
I loved this entire four part novel and I was sad to see it end so abruptly and WISH there was more for Beast and Belle. I fawned over Beast and I shouldn’t because he is bad but damn sexy and I felt terrible for how stupid Belle was, but you can’t have both beauty and brains unless you are the beast. ;)

Since the implosion at The Oasis and Derek's stay at Hawk Headquarters, The Shade has fallen into a state of utter chaos. To make matters worse, the citizens of Derek's kingdom have become suspicious of his loyalties and accuse him of siding with the enemy... At a time when Derek desperately needs full cooperation from his subjects, they wish to put their own King on trial.

Meanwhile, Sofia is being held hostage by the hunters. They are determined to rid her of her infatuation with the vampire. She submits to the strict routine and training they impose on her, but the only fuel that keeps her going is the thought of reuniting with Derek - something Reuben is fighting with every fiber of his being to ensure will never happen.

...Until one day, out of the blue, Reuben appears to have a change of heart and comes to Sofia with a proposal; a solution that she never dreamed possible. A solution that would fulfil her heart's deepest desires and secure her and Derek's future together, forever.

But can she really trust this man who is so renowned for his hatred of vampires? Does she even have a choice?

My Short Review:
I have a lot of Derek to catch up on but this is the last one I had read before I stopped reading so much. Derek is a prize to behold, he is so human for a vampire. He makes mistakes and tries to be the best man but most people including Derek come up short. Sophia is somewhat brain-dead in my eyes. She could mature and grow a lot but Derek makes her a bigger and better person and she does the same for him. I can’t wait to read the next four or so installments.

Having prevented the war between the witches and vampires, Gwen Sparks was ready to move on and heal. She thought she could go home and her life would return to normal—she thought wrong.

Being a spirit walker offers her protection, but it also put her life in danger as others covet what she possesses. A bounty is placed on Gwen and rogues, who will stop at nothing to get the job done, relentlessly track her.

With no choice but to head to New Orleans to retrieve a special dagger, Gwen comes face to face with the angel of Death and the feelings she has been denying. Living in a world where everyone has a motive, can Gwen find the inner strength she needs to save her own life?

My Short Review:
STILL need to read HEXED but I absolutely adore Dorian!! He is my favorite Death/Grim Reaper in the book world. There is so much more to him than meets the eye and I want Gwen to choose him because he is the best pick and by far the sexiest but that is my own biased opinion. ;) He is awesome and he deserves to finally find happiness and so far with Gwen he is happy.
